At St. Jude Community Homes we believe that recovery from mental illness is a unique and personal journey that’s enhanced by the support of others. Recovery means the ability to have a home, a friend and meaningful activity in one’s life within a community that offers hope, dignity, respect and the opportunity for personal growth.
Mental illness need not be an obstacle to fulfilling one’s dreams. We are committed to helping people stay out of the hospital, achieve their personal goals and enjoy an improved quality of life within the limitations caused by chronic illness.
St Jude Community Homes is a private non-profit organization. We have three residential apartment buildings with self-contained units and medium-low support services for single adults. We provide permanent, safe, affordable housing – but more importantly, we provide a place to call home.
As a non-profit mental health agency our services would not be possible without funding and assistance from the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care, the Toronto Central Local Health Integration Network and the partnership of community agencies.
